For those new to working with an interior design studio, the process can feel a little mysterious. That’s why we’ve outlined exactly how we work—step by step—to help you feel confident and inspired from day one.

    1. Initial Consultation

Every project begins with a conversation.

The initial consultation – a 1-hour in-person visit to your home  (or video call if you’re overseas/interstate) – allows us to understand the scope of your project, your style preferences, and how you live in your space. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions, share your goals, and get a feel for how we work.

This first touchpoint helps us determine whether we’re the right fit and ensures that our design direction is aligned with your vision.

    2. Scope of Work Fee Proposal

Once we’ve met, within 48 hours of the consultation, we will send you a scope of work outlining the work to be done. This includes a mood board and imagery to ensure we’re aligned on the overall look and feel before moving into sourcing all necessary pieces. Once the Scope of Work is approved, the sourcing process officially begins.

    3. Concept Development

We looove a good mood board! With the brief in place, we begin crafting a visual concept that brings your space to life.

This stage includes the creation of a design direction—mood boards, material palettes, and reference imagery—that captures the essence of your future home. The concept sets the tone and acts as the guiding framework for the rest of the project

This bedroom design board—with a bed dressed in white linens, two nightstands with lamps, wall art, a dresser topped with a round mirror, and decorative accents in neutral and blue hues—offers the perfect interior design inspiration for your winter refresh; and if you spot a blonde woman in the image, that's Emma Blomfield.

    4. Detailed Design & Selections

Once the concept is approved, we begin curating the specific pieces that will bring the vision to life.

From furniture, lighting, and soft furnishings to artwork, finishes, and accessories, every element is chosen with purpose. We also provide floor plans, layout suggestions, and styling notes to demonstrate how each piece contributes to the function and aesthetic of your home.

    5. Procurement & Coordination

Upon approval of the final design package, EB Studio offers full procurement services. We handle all supplier communication, ordering, and delivery logistics—ensuring the process remains seamless and stress-free.

We work closely with trusted manufacturers, artisans, and logistics teams to keep timelines on track and ensure quality at every stage.

    6. Installation & Styling

Once all items have been received, we coordinate a full installation and styling day.

Our team is onsite to manage furniture placement, artwork installation, and the final layering of soft furnishings and accessories. This is where your space truly comes to life—with all elements working in harmony to reflect the original design vision.

    7. Final Handover

After installation, we walk through the completed space with you to ensure everything meets expectations and address any final refinements.

    Welcome Home!
