The Rug Collection Showroom

The Brief

We were honoured to design The Rug Collection’s new showroom in Rosebery’s freshly renovated Engine Yards heritage building. This stunning space features soaring sawtooth ceilings, retained timber framework, and exposed brickwork, blending historical charm with modern elegance. Our brief was to elevate the showroom from its previous location and surroundings, creating a sophisticated and functional environment. In addition to designing the display areas for the rugs, we crafted meeting rooms, window display pods, a fully equipped kitchen with backlit marble slabs, and bespoke joinery for storage and staff workspaces. The result is a showroom that not only showcases the rugs beautifully but also provides a welcoming and efficient workspace for the team.
