Leafy Retreat in Pymble
This renovation was a particularly special one – a refresh of Emma’s childhood home in Pymble for her parents. Nestled in one of the most beautifully leafy streets in the Upper North Shore, the brief was to create two bathrooms and a laundry that felt connected to the lush green landscape surrounding the home.
Having remained untouched since the house was built in 1989, the spaces were well and truly ready for an update. Out went the peach toilet suites and black slate floors, and in came a calming palette inspired by the gum trees and layered greenery just beyond the windows. This is one EPIC before & after transformation. Take a look below at how it used to look!
We leaned into soft greens, warm neutrals and warm metals for the tapware from Yabby to create rooms that feel fresh, timeless and reflective of their setting. The materials were chosen not only for their beauty but for their longevity, ensuring the spaces feel contemporary while still honouring the character of the home.
The result is a thoughtful renovation that feels light, grounded and deeply connected – a meaningful transformation of a home filled with decades of memories.
