The Brief

An Art Deco Revival

This Art Deco apartment underwent a complete transformation, with our team managing every detail from demolition through to final styling. We stripped the unit back to its bones and rebuilt it with a focus on elegance, functionality, and timeless appeal.

The redesign included installing beautiful floorboards, reimagining the kitchen with tasteful finishes, ample storage, and a discreet washer-dryer nook, and layering in comfort with plush new carpet in the bedrooms and custom window treatments. Once the hard finishes were complete, we fully furnished the apartment to reflect a modern yet classic Art Deco aesthetic with a slight coastal feel being in Coogee.

Our involvement spanned the entire process – coordinating trades, sourcing, ordering, and installing every piece. On completion, the apartment was move-in ready, styled to perfection, and thoughtfully balanced between sophistication and everyday liveability.

The result is a beautifully revived home that honours the apartment’s Art Deco roots while offering modern comforts and practicality for our clients.
